I entered the investment business in 1994 with Midland Walwyn, which was purchased by Merrill Lynch and then CIBC Wood Gundy. I joined Blackmont in June 2006 because I felt confident with their management team and entrepreneurial philosophy, and knew they could help me offer more to my clients. I received an Honours B.A. from York University in Mass Communications and Political Science, and owe my investment instincts to my father, who held progressively more senior positions in the investment industry since beginning his career as an advisor with Doherty Roadhouse & Co. in 1971. I am happily married, have two fabulous daughters and enjoy playing hockey and golf. |
