Nancy Griffin is a Senior Investment Advisor and principal of The Griffin Group* at Blackmont Capital. She began her career in the investment industry in 1992 as an Investment Advisor and joined Blackmont as a Senior Investment Advisor in 2004. Nancy joined Blackmont so she could offer her clients Blackmont's high-level boutique service, its truly open-architecture platform which enables her to select complete wealth enhancing solutions for her clients, and to enjoy entrepreneurial independence within a sound corporate wealth management framework.

Nancy's clients vary from business owners, women's personal wealth and executives of leading Canadian firms. Nancy understands the unique needs of such clients thanks to her own experience as a current business owner, as well as her background in management at Procter & Gamble Inc., where she was one of the first female managers for P&G in Canada. Nancy works closely with her clients and their families to help them realize their business, personal wealth, and legacy goals.

Nancy is a strong advocate for two significant areas: the unique aspects of women's personal wealth at all stages, as well as giving back significantly in our respective communities. Nancy has created and registered two special programs to reinforce these two areas of focus: Women, Worth and Wellness ® and Passionate Legacy ®. Through these programs, Nancy helps her clients live to their full potential — especially in retirement, and realize their lifetime and legacy goals.

Nancy ran for nomination for federal public office — an experience which has ever since engaged her with giving back in Toronto and surrounding communities. She serves on the Rouge Valley Health System Foundation Board and the Planned Giving Committee of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. She is also on the Board of Women Presidents Organization, which is based in New York and has chapters in major cities across Canada. Nancy is a member of Verity, Ladies Golf Club of Toronto, Economic Club of Toronto, Canadian Club of Toronto, and The Toronto Board of Trade. She is also involved with her heritage community of Bobcaygeon, where she chairs the Tourism Advisory Board for the City of Kawartha Lakes. Nancy is the proud recipient of the prestigious "Canada 125 Award" which was awarded to her in 1992. This award was given to celebrate Canada's 125 th birthday, and to honour outstanding volunteer leadership in each federal riding community across Canada.
