Alan Tchabushnig — Senior Investment Advisor and Director, Private Client Group

I began my investment career in 1988 at Davidson Partners which eventually became Midland Walwyn. I left Midland in 1992 to join Robert Caldwell Capital, an independent firm, as Vice President and Partner. I joined Blackmont in 2002 when they purchased Robert Caldwell Capital. Within our team, I handle the broad strategic decisions involving our asset allocation. My studies in economics and business at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University provided an ideal background for my role as an investment advisor and financial services leader.
 

Phillip Ens — Associate Investment Advisor

Phillip Ens joined my team in 2000 from Clarica. His main responsibilities include executing trades and co-ordinating research for me. I am a strong believer in using independent research in addition to our own in-house research, and I purchase a vast array of outside products. Phil takes my broad strategic ideas and, using research, boil them down into actionable ideas.
   

Tiz Giovinazzo — Investment Representative, Executive Assistant

Tiz has been part of my team since 1996. Her responsibilities include handling client order entry, account inquiries and the entire administrative and record keeping functions of the group.
