I began my career with Brawley Cathers Limited in 1972, became Partner in 1978 and was President for fifteen years. My primary function was to manage portfolios for individuals and corporations. I took an active role in several companies that Brawley financed, including an African diamond mine and a Russian telecommunications company. I joined Blackmont Capital when the firm purchased Brawley, and now focus exclusively on the management of my clients’ portfolios. I currently chair the Board of Trustees of the General Synod Pension Plan of the Anglican Church of Canada and chair the Canadian Advisory Board of a UK based insurance company. |
