Nevin’s extensive background in the financial industry has included being an investment manager for a large B.C. public sector company where he developed and implemented an international award-winning investment policy. Moving on to a major bank-owned firm, Nevin successfully became branch manager and achieved recognition as a member of the President’s Council, in addition to being a recipient of the Director’s Award. His professional affiliations include membership in the Society of Management Accountants of B.C., the Association for Investment Management & Research, and the Vancouver Society of Financial Analysis. Nevin is committed to his community and enjoyed serving as President of the Surrey Foundation for 3 years.
