Sandra began her investment career with McLeod Young Weir in 1984. She moved to Midland Walwyn where she became a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor. Following Midland Walwyn’s sale to Merrill Lynch Canada she rejoined ScotiaMcLeod as a Director in the Wealth Management Division. At Blackmont Capital, Sandra has been named Chair of the Advisory Committee to Management, which develops strategies to help the firm provide the ultimate client experience.

Her success is a direct result of her dedication and sincere concern for clients’ interests. Sandra passionately pursues her mission to give women a voice in the investment world and combat financial insecurity which can lead to “Bag Lady Syndrome.” Through a presentation entitled “Financial Empowerment Is In the Bag,” she demystifies investing, illustrates how financial security can simplify and enrich life, and inspires women to plan the path to their dreams.

Sandra studied Journalism at Carleton University, which helped her to enhance her communications skills. She is an avid practitioner of Ashtanga yoga, and has her teaching certification.
