He spends considerable time up front mapping out with his clients what they want to achieve and accurately evaluating their risk profile. Blackmont gives Kim and his clients access to multiple, automatically generated reports so that they can chart progress together. Kim meets face-to-face with his clients at least twice a year, to review objectives, ensure that new circumstances are taken into account, answer clients’ questions, and ensure that they understand what’s happening with their investments. If they have a new grandchild, if they want to buy another property, if they become ill — these all affect the way he advises them on their investments. In addition, he is constantly available to his clients by phone and email.
